What We Did
|
A two storey hospitality chalet design to give Helsing a controlled, high-specification environment for meetings, demos and brand presence at one of the world’s leading aerospace events.
Challenge
Hesling needed a full-scale chalet at Paris Air Show that delivered privacy, hospitality and technical capability in one cohesive space. The build required a weatherproof structure, multiple meetings rooms, demo environments, bathrooms, a reception area and upstairs lounge. The project had strict French building regulations, heavy site service demands and a short on-site installation window, all while supporting a major programme of briefings with governments and industry partners.
What We Delivered
We delivered a complete two-level chalet from the ground up. The exterior was built from modular steel frames, glass panelling and OSB structural walling, finished with timber cladding, laser cut aluminium elements and IP67 illuminated Helsing logos. Inside, we created a full architectural layout including meeting rooms, demo spaces, a reception area, servery units, kitchen, bathrooms and an internal staircase, complete with laminate and velour flooring, insulated walls and controllable Philips Hue lighting.
The chalet featured a large 5.5m external LED screen, recessed speakers and AV throughout, supported by hardwired internet, 24/7 power, HVAC in all rooms, plumbing, waste, water heaters and fire safety systems. All drawings, engineering approvals, customs documentation, eight 40ft trailers, cranes, MEWPs and site logistics were managed and delivered end-to-end by our team.
Impact
The chalet provided Helsing with a premium base for their meetings, demos and hospitality needs throughout the show. The controlled interior made it easier to present complex AI defence capabilities, while the exterior LED screen delivered strong visibility across the runway. The space supported a full week of engagements with governments, partners and industry leaders, reinforcing Helsing’s presence as an emerging force in European defence technology at one of the sector’s most influential events.
